Total Disarray: 3 changes Mauricio Pochetinno must make to save his job

Chelsea is in total disarray under Mauricio Pochettino who seems to have forgotten the basic of coaching and instilling a distinctive style of play to his very good squad of players.

The club spent over a billion in recruiting some of the finest players in Europe and what is expected from them, and the manager is to win games. The American owner Todd Boehly has good intention for the club and has publicly spoken of his desire to return Chelsea to pinnacle of football.

He wants to rival Manchester City for both domestic and European trophies and will sign players no matter what they cost to achieve that fate.

Sadly, that dream of trying to revolutionize Chelsea seems to be fading away with each passing week. Chelsea are 14th in the Premier League table, 14 points off Manchester City who leads the table and 4 points off relegation.

Fixing this calamity falls on Pochettino who act fast to arrest this decline or face the possibility of been sacked soon. He must make these three changes as quickly as possible.

1. Play defensive football and get the attackers to nick just a goal- Mauricio Pochettino has to ditch the high line; the all-out-attack and fall deep. His team has scored just 5 goals this season while conceding 8 goals, he needs to play defensive football for the time being.

No doubt Chelsea misses Christopher Nkunku who is currently ruled out till December, the team must keep goals out or face been in the relegation dog fight.

2. Shuffle the team, drop big names and give others a chance- Irrespective of the money used to sign any player, Mouricio Pochettino must take control of his team by selecting only players who willing to run thier socks off for him. Players who are willing to run through brick wall for him be it average or academy players.

Once he selects a team who wants to play for him and not for the sake of the contract he signed, he will win games.

3. Thiago Silva has to lead the team with or without the captain armband- Giving the captain armband to an injury plagued player was one of the silliest decision made by Mouricio Pochettino. Thiago Silva should've been captain due his experiences, stamina and examplenary leadership qualities.

Picking Reece James ahead of him was a silly decision and now its backfiring. The Brazilian no longer leads the dressing room he just goes with the flow of the current disarray at Chelsea knowing soon a new manager will be appointed.

Pochettino must speak with Thiago with or without making him the captain to get his team playing well.

Educational system in Nigeria is dangerous: Why lectures are responsible for 70% of adult suicide in schools

The troubling questions most Nigerians refuse to ask themselves probably due to its complicated and complex nature is 'why are Nigeria students taking their own lives in schools?'  First thought that will undoubtedly come to mind is the students' financial and economic struggles as a result of the badly managed government. Nigeria's current problems include bribery and corruption, senile leadership, food insecurity, inflation, fuel difficulties, Forex challenges, and, most cruelly, widespread thievery by public officials. Second thought could be social, or peer pressure, emotional blackmail or relationship matters. Third reason is the radical policy of the incumbent president Bola Ahmed Tinubu who ensured subsidized education was eradicated and replaced with student loan.  But the major reason which has contributed more deaths than the aforementioned is the role of lecturers and other public officials in the educational system.  Do you know that once a student is admitt...

Nigeria lies: Why Boko Haram, Banditry and Kidnapping might never end

Insecurity in Nigeria is a business venture for top officials who have brilliantly covered up their tracks irrespective of the carnage it has cost over the years.  Due to Nigeria's extremely corrupt political structure, certain officials who were unfortunate enough to have their photo taken dining with a Boko Haram leader have risen to the second-highest position in the government and have stifled any idea of conducting any investigation.  Ahead of him, a different official declared with audacity that "an attack on Boko Haram is an attack on the northern part of Nigeria" and demanded the liberation of the group. Regretfully, since 2012, this region has lost about $250 billion in investments and lands, and over 200,000 people have died. Horrifically, that same individual rose to become the president of Nigeria and left a devastating legacy in his 8-year tenure. NTS reported that over 63111 died in his 8-year-time, the report is clearly stated in Vanguard Newspaper 6th June...

Ending poverty: 5 excellent ways the federal government can end poverty in Nigeria

Everywhere you go around the world they're people who are impoverished, broke, dependent on the state and in some pathetic state, neglected by the state for one reason or the other.  Some countries have drastically reduced poverty by ensuring the needs of the people are meant by investing in both capital and human resources while other countries have struggled badly to achieve similar state despite investing in trillions.  Nigeria falls into the second category; despite spending trillions of naira on both capital and human resourcs, 75% of its citizens still live in extreme poverty. What steps must the government take thereafter to eradicate or significantly reduce poverty. Surprising right, but they're much deeper reasons why Nigeria is a failed state and what must be done to combat poverty.  1. The federal government must empower ambitious Nigerian and stop over bloating the ministry with incompetent staffs- People who are ready to be self-sufficient, create industries...
