Insecurity in Nigeria is a business venture for top officials who have brilliantly covered up their tracks irrespective of the carnage it has cost over the years.  Due to Nigeria's extremely corrupt political structure, certain officials who were unfortunate enough to have their photo taken dining with a Boko Haram leader have risen to the second-highest position in the government and have stifled any idea of conducting any investigation.  Ahead of him, a different official declared with audacity that "an attack on Boko Haram is an attack on the northern part of Nigeria" and demanded the liberation of the group. The troubling questions most Nigerians refuse to ask themselves probably due to its complicated and complex nature is 'why are Nigeria students taking their own lives in schools?'  First thought that will undoubtedly come to mind is the students' financial and economic struggles as a result of the badly managed government. Everywhere you go around the world they're people who are impoverished, broke, dependent on the state and in some pathetic state, neglected by the state for one reason or the other.  Some countries have drastically reduced poverty by ensuring the needs of the people are meant by investing in both capital and human resources while other countries have struggled badly to achieve similar state despite investing in trillions.  Nigeria falls into the second category; despite spending trillions of naira on both capital and human resourcs, 75% of its citizens still live in extreme poverty.
